Community Impact Initiative – Grant Award to The Chev
Fulli’s Wholesale is proud to announce the awarding of this month’s Community Impact Initiative grant to The Chev, a Gateshead-based organization dedicated to supporting disabled individuals within the local community.
The Community Impact Initiative, recently launched by Fulli’s Wholesale, is a quarterly program designed to allocate £150 to local organizations, schools, and charities that are making a significant impact in the community. The initiative invites community groups to apply through a simple form on Fulli’s Wholesale website, detailing how they would use the funds to benefit the local populace.
The Chev, this month’s grant recipient, is renowned for its comprehensive support system for disabled people, primarily within the Jewish Community of Gateshead and its environs. The organization offers a variety of leisure and social activities, as well as respite services for families and carers. A strong advocate for empowerment, The Chev also assists individuals in gaining employability skills, developing life skills, and providing relevant training to achieve these goals.
With the grant from Fulli’s Wholesale, The Chev plans to honour the hard work and dedication of its volunteers, who are the backbone of the organization. The recognition of these selfless individuals is a testament to the spirit of community and the shared goal of creating positive change.
